Professional Captain Available

At La Romana Marbella we offer a professional freelance captain service for yacht owners and charter companies looking for an experienced, reliable and fully certified skipper.

The service is led by Adrián Moreno, a professional captain with extensive experience in both private and commercial operations, with more than 25,000 nautical miles at sea as skipper on sailing yachts and motor yachts throughout the Mediterranean and international waters.

Professional Qualifications

• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore with Commercial Endorsement

• Spanish Yacht Captain License (Capitán de Yate)

• PPER – Professional Skipper License

• ENG1-equivalent international seafarer medical certificate (valid)

• Basic Safety Training (STCW)

• Restricted Radio Operator Certificate

• Medical First Aid Training

Professional Experience

Professional skipper experience on private yachts and charter vessels from approximately 8 to over 60 feet, including sailing yachts, catamarans and motor yachts.

Adrián has worked as captain or delivery skipper on yachts from renowned shipyards including Sunseeker, Fairline, Azimut, Lagoon, Bali, Jeanneau, Beneteau and Bavaria, performing charter operations, offshore passages and yacht deliveries.

Offshore experience includes long passages such as Italy to Spain deliveries, Balearic crossings and numerous Gibraltar Strait passages, as well as international sailing experience in destinations such as Greece, Seychelles and the Western Mediterranean.
